1. Does your technician wear a mask?

A mask is not always an indicator of MMA use. However, the FDA has deemed this substance poisonous.  This product can cause respiratory problems for the tech and client.
 
2.  Will your technician freely offer information on the products being used. 

A licensed tech will gladly share product information and can always show you product in its original container. You are the consumer you have a right to know everything about the products being used on your body.
 
3.  Does the liquid being used on you have a distinctly different odor?
4.  Are your nails difficult to remove?

MMA is virtually impossible to remove with traditional solvents.  It can takes up to 2 hours to remove MMA nails.

5.  Will your nail tech freely discuss his/her education with you?

Many discount salons are being operated by untrained technicians.  A qualified tech can discuss the school attended, her teachers and more.
